English: Phillis was an iron-hulled four-masted barque, built by Russell & Co, Port Glasgow in 1886 as Australia for P. Denniston & Co, Glasgow. Dimensions: length × beam × depth = 278 × 42 × 24.6 ft (84.7 × 12.8 × 7.4 m). Tonnages: 2,268 GRT and 2,175 NRT. Renamed Elisa Lihn in 1906, Australia in 1916 and Phyllis in 1919. Sold to Italian buyers in 1925 and scrapped in Genoa in 1926.[1][2]
