English: Pierre Bonny (1895 – 26 December 1944) was a French police officer. As an inspector, he was the investigating officer on the 1923 Seznec case, in which he has been accused of falsifying the evidence. He was praised as one of the most talented police officers in the country helping to solve the notorious Stavisky financial scandal in 1934. In 1935 he was jailed for 3 years on corruption charges.

Li estis konsekrita « unua policano de Francio » fare de ministro de justico Henry Chéron post la malkovro de la stumpoj de ĉekaroj de Stavisky.
Français : Pierre Bonny, né en 1895 à Bordeaux et fusillé en décembre 1944 lors de l'épuration, est un policier français devenu célèbre durant l'entre-deux-guerres, au sein de la Sûreté générale : son nom est d'abord associé à de retentissantes affaires criminelles et politico-financières, dont beaucoup ont été oubliées depuis tandis que d'autres, telles les affaires Seznec, Stavisky et Prince, ont marqué les mémoires.
