English: The Potala Palace — a Buddhist temple complex located in Lhasa, Tibet.

It was the center of Tibetan Buddhism, and the primary residence of the Dalai Lama, from the 17th century until his exile in 1959.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site in Tibet.
