Redwood National Park
Redwood National Park is a National Park in northern California, close to the border with Oregon. It preserves about half the world population of the coast redwood Sequoia sempervirens, the tallest tree on earth. Besides the redwood forest, a strip of the Pacific Ocean coast belongs to the park as well as some patches of prairies, rivers and lakes.
