[edit] Instructions

Action can consist of 4 things:

• Pass the request to COM:DL (after two weeks)
• Remove the rename request because it is nonsense or it is disputed already on the talk page
• Support the rename request at the talk page
• Oppose the rename request at the talk page

Deciding factors should be common sense for quick decisions and at least some support in case of more sensitive renames. Mass renames or potentially very controversial renames should, in general, be taken to COM:CFD. Noncontroversial or consensus-decided renames can be handled by SieBot at User:CommonsDelinker/commands.

The old category page should be redirected (using {{category redirect}}) to the new name or deleted if nonsense.
