Español: El Real Jardín Botánico de Madrid fue construido entre 1774 y 1781 por el arquitecto Francesco Sabatini y completado entre 1785 y 1789 por Juan de Villanueva. Ocupa 11 hectáreas distribuidas en tres niveles aterrazados con alrededor de 5.000 especies de árboles y plantas de todo el mundo. Fue declarado Monumento Nacional en 1947.
English: The Royal Botanical Garden in Madrid was built between 1774 and 1781 by architect Francesco Sabatini and completed between 1785 y 1789 by Juan de Villanueva. It occupies a total surface of 11 hectares distributed in three terraced levels. It contains around 5.000 species of trees and plants from all over the world. It was declared a National Monument in 1947.
