العربية: سعدي الشيرازي(اسمه الكامل: مشرف الدين بن مصلح الدين عبد الله) هو ثالث الشعراء الثلاثة الكبار في الإيران.
English: Abū-Muḥammad Muṣliḥ al-Dīn bin Abdallāh Shīrāzī or, simply, Saadi, was one of the major Persian poets of the medieval period. He is not only famous in Persian-speaking countries, but he has also been quoted in western sources. He is recognized for the quality of his writings, and for the depth of his social and moral thoughts.
فارسی: ابومحمد مُصلِح بن عَبدُالله مشهور به سعدی شیرازی و مشرف الدین (۶۰۶ – ۶۹۱ هجری قمری) شاعر و نویسندهٔ پارسیگوی ایرانی است. شهرت او بیشتر به خاطر نظم و نثر آهنگین، گیرا و قوی اوست. مقامش نزد اهل ادب تا بدانجاست که به وی لقب استاد سخن دادهاند. آثار معروفش کتاب گلستان در نثر و بوستان در بحر متقارب و نیز غزلیات وی است.
