English: Category:Slant frets string instruments. Slant frets or Fanned frets are characterized by frets that "fan out" at different angles instead of the more standard frets that are perpendicular to the instrument’s neck.
Nederlands: Categorie:Scheve frets. Bij Scheve frets staan de frets niet haaks op de hals van het instrument, maar schuin. Deze oude methode – met destijds losse frets (bindsels/bunde) – wordt in de moderne gitaarbouw soms weer toegepast, nu met een waaier aan messing frets (ook wel Waaierfrets genoemd.)
