St. Michael and All Angels church, Penkridge is now an Anglican church, part of the Penkridge parish, which has three smaller places of worship, and also part of the wider Penkridge Team Ministry.

Before the Reformation, St. Michaels was a collegiate church and a chapel royal or royal peculiar, independent of the local diocese of Coventry and Lichfield. The building is large and made of local sandstone, much of it in the late Perpendicular style of the 15th and 16th centuries. It contains a considerable body of religious and funerary art from the late Middle Ages to the 20th century.
