Tan Kah Kee (Chinese: 陈嘉庚, pinyin: Chén Jiāgēng; 21 October 1874 – 12 August 1961) was a prominent businessman, community leader, and philanthropist in colonial Singapore, and a Communist leader in the People's Republic of China.
