English: ThameSide was one of three brand names adopted by County Bus & Coach when the company was formed in 1989 from the Harlow, Grays and Hertford garages of London Country North East. The company used these brand names on top of a common base livery of dark green & cream - Grays garage was ThameSide, Harlow was TownLink, and Hoddesdon (later moved to Ware) was Lea Valley. The ThameSide name was retained through various transfers in ownership of County up to and including its purchase by the Cowie Group from 1997. The name was eventually phased out after Cowie conducted a group wide rebranding as Arriva, with County Bus & Coach being renamed Arriva East Herts & Essex Ltd in 1998.
