Tuy Hòa is a coastal city in the Phu Yen province of central Vietnam. Located at the mouth of Da Rang river, it was a prosperous agricultural, fishing and trading town by at least the 5th-century. The city preserves a historic Cham temple and several modern era Buddhist monuments. It currently serves as the capital of the province. It is connected by Vietnamese railways as well as the national coastal highway.
