Deutsch: Das Umgebindehaus ist eine Weiterentwicklung des Blockhauses, und vor allem in einem Gebiet von Schlesien über die Oberlausitz und Nordböhmen bis in die Sächsische Schweiz verbreitet. Der ganz besondere Haustyp kombiniert ein Blockhaus mit einem Fachwerkhaus oder auch zwei Blockhäuser.
English: The Umgebindehaus is a derivate of the log cabin, that combines two log cabins or a log cabin and a timber framing. Such houses are widely spread in Silesia, Upper Lusatia and northern Bohemia.
