Wendelin Moosbrugger (1760-1849) was an Austrian and German portrait and miniature painter. He originated from the family Moosbrugger famous for its architects, stukkists and painters. Moosbrugger was a student at the academy in Mannheim and worked as a portrait painter in oil and in miniature first in Konstanz and later on also in Vienna, Stuttgart, Rastatt and in Switzerland.
