English: Westerns are films in the "Western" American fiction genre, predominantly seen in film and television, but also employed in literature, painting and other visual arts. Westerns are devoted to telling stories set in the 19th Century American West (and sometimes Mexico, Canada or the Australian Outback, during the same time period).
