English: Weybourne is a fishing resort on the North Norfolk and has the postcode prefix of NR25. The village straddles the A149 coast road and is three miles west of Sheringham, within the Norfolk Coast AONB. Weybourne is mentioned in the Domesday book and in that survey it is called Wabrume. There are remains of an old Augustinian priory founded around 1200 AD on the site of a simpler Saxon church by Sir Ralph de Meyngaren (Mainwearing). By 1494 only a prior and three canons lived there. One canon complained that the priory was so poor it was unable to pay him his 20 shillings of annual pocket money. At another visitation in 1514 there was only a prior and one canon and this remained until King Henry VIII ordered the dissolution of monasteries and priories.

Français : Weybourne est un village du comté de Norfolk en Angleterre, situé de part et d'autre de la route côtière, à quatre kilomètres à l'ouest de Sheringham. Le village est entouré de champs arables, bois et terres. L'endroit est dit excellent pour profiter de promenades typiques à la campagne et sur la côte. L'observation de la vie sauvage et en particulier des oiseaux y est très populaire.

Italiano: Vi si trovano i resti di una vecchia abbazia Agostiniana fondata intorno al 1200 AD sul terreno si una chiesa sassone da Sir Ralph de Meyngaren. Dal 1494 solo un priore e tre canonici vi hanno vissuto. Uno dei canonici si lamento' che il priore era cosi povero da non essere in grado di pagargli i suoi 20 scellini annuali. Durante un'altra ispezione nel 1514 erano presenti solo un priore e un canonico, la situazione rimase tale fino a quando Enrico VIII ordino' lo scioglimento dei monasteri e delle abbazie.
