A Wikipedia Academy is a public outreach event in which the participants are introduced to the basics of Wikipedia and how to edit it. Wikipedia Academymay vary in length from hours to days.

Project outline[edit]

Description: Segment the target groups and run a focused out reach events for a specified target. Examples could be colleges, IT Industry, Retired Professionals association etc.

Tasks:

• Identify and prioritize target groups
• Select outreach event appropriate to target group
• Run outreach events
