Deutsch: Wilhelmshaven ist eine kreisfreie Stadt in Nordwestdeutschland. Mit 83.552 Einwohnern ist sie die größte Mittelstadt und eines der Oberzentren im Land Niedersachsen. Seit 2006 gehört Wilhelmshaven zur Metropolregion Bremen/Oldenburg. Die Stadt hat traditionell große Bedeutung als Marinehafen der Bundeswehr. Der Tiefwasserhafen, der einzige in Deutschland, ist der wichtigste Erdöl-Importhafen und der größte Massenguthafen Deutschlands.
