English: The Yan Miao Renovation Stele (Year 4 of Zhengde era, i.e. 1509 CE). The stele stands on a bixi tortoise, and is located in the western stele pavilion of the middle court of Yan Miao (the Temple of Yan) in Qufu. The stele is 3 m tall, 1.3 m wide, 0.38 m thick. Its turtle is 3.26 m long, 1.48 m wide, 0.9 m tall. A detaield description of the stele can be found as item 118 of the Ming Dynasty chapter, on pp. 468-470 of the book:
