English: The Zhenjiang Railway Station originally opened in 1907, and has been reconstructed several times since. The last time the station was extended and reconstructed for the Nanjing - Shanghai High-speed Railway, and the construction finished in May 2010. There are presently two completely separate station buildings: the new one is located south of the tracks, opposite to the "old" station on the north side of the tracks. The new station serves CRH trains (G-series and most of D-series), while the old station continues to serve conventional (non-CRH) passenger trains as well as some of the D-series ones. The two stations are connected by a tunnel under the tracks, but it's a long walk.
