It has been proposed to rename the category Borgund stavkirke with the reason given that that is the Norwegian name. According to the policy for naming of categories they should have English names, so from that point of view it doesn't seem correct to move it to a Norwegian name. It should also be noted that there are two Norwegian names for this building, and that the owner of this church (Sogn og Fjordane avd. av Fortidsminneforeningen) is using the name Borgund stavkyrkje, not Borgund stavkirke. This is the name they use at the visitors center by the church too, and it is visible in this picture:
