I would like to rename this category to "Rangifer tarandus fur-skins", since it would be appropriate not to split it between the wild caribou populations of North America and the wild and semi-domesticated reindeer populations of Eurasia.--Skogsfrun (talk) 05:48, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

I hope, I understand it right. You will not differentiate between European and Eurasian Rangifer tarandus (sorry for my English)? I think that is right. The naming of the fur-skin categories is orientating at the use of the fur trade. I guess, in Northamerica they call all Rangifer tarandus as caribou skins, in Europe and Asia reindeer skins. Your idea would solve this problem, my problem is the different from the naming of the other fur-skin names. I am not sure what to do. --Kürschner (talk) 07:22, 1 April 2013 (UTC)
I answer only on Category talk:Caribou (clothing) to keep the discussion in one place.--Skogsfrun (talk) 12:37, 1 April 2013 (UTC)

I see that you have made the changes. Well done!--Skogsfrun (talk) 17:53, 3 April 2013 (UTC)

I found some new images and thought, I can do them in the new category names. --Kürschner (talk) 18:59, 3 April 2013 (UTC)
