Proposed merge to Category:Shaved genitalia (female)[edit]

I think this should be a meta-category hosting both waxed and shaved genitalia (and perhaps other methods of hair removal, I don't know which exist). Not all hairless genitalia has been shaved. On the other hand, the distinction is rarely made in practice (most files seem to go into the shaved category regardless of whether the subjects were shaved or not) and in fact in many cases it is impossible to tell (I suppose?) what method was used, so as an alternative solution I'd suggest merging both the waxed and shaved genitalia categories here (with redirects so people can still find this one by those terms). --Waldir talk 10:35, 7 June 2012 (UTC)

Support: This is a good category for closeup images without hair (too young or too old to have it), but we have none of the former and only one of the latter.--Auric (talk) 21:49, 27 May 2013 (UTC)
Support the opposite: I think Category:Shaved genitalia (female) should be merged into Category:Hairless genitalia (female), just because you just don't know if the hairless genitalia is shaved or if the hair has been removed in some other way. Pictures of genitalia being shaved is another thing, those pictures can have a category of their own. Categorica (talk) 00:13, 23 July 2013 (UTC)
Support the opposite:I think I agree with Categorica. There is no way to know if the hair was "Shaved", vs waxed, chemically removed, naturally missing, etc.--ARTEST4ECHO talk 20:44, 9 August 2013 (UTC)
