Can anyone tell me how to access my image files on Hebrew wikipedia so that I can add some of them to English articles? My son downloaded them on his account, and he's off on a trek in Nepal. --85.65.211.173 08:26, 27 April 2007 (UTC)

If you just want to find them, use the Hebrew equivalent of http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/85.65.211.173 (select the Image namespace) and/or http://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special%3ALog&type=upload&user=85.65.211.173&page= (substituting your son's account for 85.65.211.173). Using an example from today's Hebrew Wikipedia's front page, you may not use the syntax w:he:Image:HEUranium.jpg without the colon, like so:w:he:Image:HEUranium.jpg, to display them here, or he:Image:HEUranium.jpg without the colon, like so:he:Image:HEUranium.jpg to display them in English Wikipedia - you would have to upload them to English Wikipedia, or (if they qualify) to Commons. Surely this is the best name, coz every image are copy from original, when you rename it, so therefore images are from images. Aadesig (talk) 23:13, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Mit Tierbildern nach Namen suchen!!!

Ich will zum Beispiel einen Namen eines Vogels wissen, der bei mir auf Arbeit immer so´n Krach macht. Gibt´s da nicht ne Möglichkeit (auf Deutsch)? In etwa so: Tier-->Vogel-->Region-->... und dann ne Reihe von verschiedenen Vogelbildern gleich mit Namen und Infos. M.f.G. Falkoholiker 23:02, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
