Clarification request [edit]
Is "media type" the same as "file type", or are there subtleties I'm not aware of? A cursory look at the subcategories makes me wonder how this mess was built. Paradoctor (talk) 00:12, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
- I think they are the same. Media is more conceptual and files are more down to earth, but in practice their types are the same. --Jarekt (talk) 02:10, 24 March 2010 (UTC)
