Move[edit]

Not all of the posters are what I would class as "propaganda". For example the one about the "savings bank" would fit better into "advertising". So I suggest either "Posters in the Soviet Union" or "Propaganda and Advertising in the Soviet Union" - FrancisTyers 17:08, 12 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I remember in Canadian History book seeing posters for "War Bonds" being classed as propaganda. Remember that the savings banks is a governement-ran operation, dunno if that changes anything, I guess that particular poster is advertisement. But most of the posters are propaganda. --Dandin1 23:15, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Just had a look at Old New Year postcards of USSR, a subcategory of this category, and it's neither propaganda nor posters, we should probably remove it from this category. --Dandin1 23:20, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Descriptions[edit]

Some of these files don't have descriptions, and I completely lack any knowledge in Russian to understand most of them. It'd be nice if someone who knows Russian could translate/explain them. --Dandin1 23:15, 23 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]
