English: A cinema or movie theater is a building that are or have been mainly used for showing motion pictures to an audience, including multiplexes, IMAX theaters, open-air cinemas, and drive-in movie theaters. Many other theatre buildings have also been used as cinemas or mixed cinema/variety theatres during some time in their history.
