Deutsch: Claes Oldenburg (*28. Januar 1929 in Stockholm; lebt in New York), eigentlich Claes Thure Oldenburg, gehört neben Andy Warhol und Roy Lichtenstein zu den bedeutendsten Vertretern des amerikanischen Pop Art. Besonders bekannt wurde er durch Skulpturen, die aus "banalen" Werkstoffen hergestellt waren oder subtile Alltagsgegenstände darstellten.
