- Oppose, regretfully. Everything is there technically, and I can see what you must have been thinking (and, having taken similar angles on roads myself I can appreciate too well that it is a challenging picture to take). But I don't see anything featurable in this—just a very well-done photo of a tunnel portal. Daniel Case (talk) 02:26, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Support Technically very good, and especially a picture that makes sense. --Archaeodontosaurus (talk) 05:36, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- Support Take a picture in Caracas poor zone is extremely difficult. The difficulty is not only for photography in itself, but because it was made in the third world's most violent city. In 2012, Caracas was considered the 3rd most dangerous city in the world by the Citizen Security Council, Justice and Peace, with a murder rate of 119 homicides per 100.000 people. I think it is important to emphasize this effort. --The Photographer (talk) 13:46, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- I don't see anything in COM:IG about the photographer's courage. If we want to reward that, let's set up a separate award. Daniel Case (talk) 01:41, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support - maybe not the best quality ever, but nice compo, and good documentary of poverty. Btw, the place reminds me of this one a bit ;-) --A.Savin 17:27, 11 September 2013 (UTC)
- How is it a "good documentary of poverty" all by itself? The neighborhood above the portal may indeed be poor, I'll take your word for it, but without someone explaining that it is I can't see that it is from the photo. Daniel Case (talk) 04:21, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
- Well, the huts do not really look as a nice place to live in - especially when viewed at 100 % :) --A.Savin 09:17, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support Maybe could you consider a crop below ? I find the yellow color at left a bit agressive and too much eye catching. Anyway, I'm with Archaeo in this case (sorry, bad joke...)--Jebulon (talk) 17:40, 12 September 2013 (UTC)

- Support I think it's an interesting picture, it's not just about the highway, but also about the contrast between the planned modernist highway system from the 1960s and the unplanned poor districts. Tells you a little about Venezuelan history in the postwar period.--ArildV (talk) 11:56, 16 September 2013 (UTC)
