The National Museum of Australia (NMA) is a social history museum located in Australia’s capital city, Canberra, in the Australian Capital Territory. The museum explores the land, nation and people of Australia focusing on Indigenous histories and cultures, histories of European settlement and Australians’ interaction with their environment. National Museum of Australia collections celebrate the diversity and complexity of the history of the nation.
