Please add a picture of Dr. Robin Cook from [1]. I would like to use it on the Wikipedia page for him, and I believe that this is a valid use of this photograph.
please add a photo of the 2008 superbowl as a vector file. This is the photo [2]Image:Http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/20/NFL-SB 2339.png --67.49.62.160 17:52, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
Not done. en:Image:NFL-SB 2339.png is a non-free {{fair use}} image. Commons only accepts free content (and English Wikipedia fair use guidelines prohibit fair use images of high resolution, which would exclude vector graphics, as their resolution is infinite). —LX (talk, contribs) 19:08, 28 January 2008 (UTC)
- A long time ago, I created a map (see it at Image:USmusicmap.png), a rudimentary attempt at creating something greater, primarily for en:Music of the United States. I think someone who actually had some experience with image-manipulation, even if not map-making specifically, could make a great map. I could provide all the information necessary to make something very detailed (which I know would be less useful for a Wikipedia article, since you'd have to zoom in to see anything, but would still be interesting to look at, and could even make for a dorm room poster) with symbols showing everything from cities with notable blues scenes to the home of acclaimed symphony orchestras. If possible, maps showing a subset of this information could be used for articles like en:Latin music in the United States. Is anybody willing to do the image work if I do the research work? - The map Image:Baltic sea map.jpg is erraneous. It states that Finland is part of w:Scandinavia, which it isn't by any standard. Someone should upload a new corrected map. Either word Scandinavia has to replaced with word Fennoscandia, or it have to be moved only over Sweden and Norway, possibly Denmark. And word "Baltic states" should be moved upwards a bit, because now it covers Northeastern Poland, too. -Hapsiainen 18:31, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Denmark
- More pictures of the frescos of Sankt Bendts Kirke (Church of Saint Benedict), Ringsted, Denmark. During the Middle Ages, it was the place of burial for the Danish royal family. I'm specially interested in a photo of the fresco frieze in the choir showing four Danish kings. It is possible that the choir also contains remnants of a similar frieze of Danish queens. Images of the frescos of Sankt Peders Kirke (St. Peter's) in Næstved, Denmark would also be nice. In particular a better one of the fresco of King Valdemar and/or his queen. - Kobold - Particularly looking for an image of a medieval kobold carving. According to the English Wikipedia article, medieval German peasants carved kobold figures from boxwood, mandrake, wax, and other substances and put them up in the house. If this is true, some German museum probably has such a kobold figure on display, and it would be great if Wikimedia had a photo of it. — Dulcem 04:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
- Kobold - Also, I have been unable to locate any public-domain illustrations of the kind of kobold thought to live in mines. This image from Britannica is probably PD, but there is no source information beyond "Culver Images". The PD image would be used in the English Wikipedia article. — Dulcem 04:58, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

- Japanese school uniforms. Should look like Image:Jun1.jpg. Uploaded on top of Image:Jun1.jpg, then update all info, and ask and admin to delete the old revision.
- Kano school paintings. In particular, it would be great to have some of the more famous images, such as those of Kano Tanyu's screens from Nijo-jo. LordAmeth 12:50, 12 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Art
- Art! Anything and everything! Asian art, Japanese in particular, is seriously lacking, and I would not be surprised if Western art is lacking too. If the artist has been dead for over 70 years, and there's nothing dodgy about the copyright status of the photograph of the art, then anything should be fair game. Paintings, prints, drawings, sculpture; particularly outdoor sculpture which often falls under the same public domain categories as architecture. LordAmeth 20:11, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

- Anyone have Tenniel's illustration for "The Lay of St. Odille" in The Ingoldsby Legends? I'd like it for self-parody. A good free version of Tenniel's mural of St. Cecilia would be helpful too. (I've got one from eBay.) —JerryFriedman 02:07, 14 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Pictures of Melbourne Street Art
Hello, I'm Dfrg.msc and I've been doing a lot of work on theses Melbourne Street Artists:
- Rone
- Civilian (street artist)
- Dlux (street artist)
- Meek (street artist)
- Pslam (street artist)
- Sixten (street artist)
- Prism (street artist)
- Sync (street artist)
- Optic (street artist)
- Phibs (street artist)
- Ha-Ha (street artist)
- Vexta (street artist)
However, I only have two pictures, found on the internet. If you have the means, I would highly appreciate your help in getting images to better illustrate the articles. If you have a digital camera and you can upload an image(s) of street art/stencil art/graffiti by any of these people (or if you don't know who it's by, upload it anyway and I can tell you), it would help me and the article it effects. Regards, Dfrg.msc 23:28, 4 February 2007 (UTC)
