Robert “Rob” Lavinsky, PhD (ver su biografía en minrec.org) ha donado su base de datos de fotografías completa en mindat.org (cerca de 50,000 imágenes), asi como todas las imágenes de su propia página irocks.com (coleccionadas en varias galerías respectivamente ordenadas alfabeticamente por nombre de mineral).

Las imágenes en mindat serán pronto subidas a Commons por the robot RKBot, categorizadas y la localidad traducida al Alemán. Se pueden encontrar imágenes que han sido subidas en Category:Images by Rob Lavinsky (alto) y Category:Rob Lavinsky (novel).
Por hacer [edit]
Es necesaria su ayuda para:
- traducir las descripciones restantes
- buscar las imágenes en irocks.com y, de no haber sido cargadas desde mindat, subirlas a commons ud mismo. Si desea ayudar, por favor firme en la siguiente lista para que su trabajo pueda ser organizado efectivamente.
Rob Lavinsky además ha ofrecido tantas imágenes como se necesiten de su archivo (cerca de 20,000). Por favor, registrese aqui si necesita alguna imagen para articulos de minerales.
