Each have its qualities. The nominated image is good at showing both foliage and a cone, but the flash lightning is harsh and not as good as on some of the other images. And speaking of the cone alone File:Callitropsis nootkatensis 43603.JPG is perhaps a little better. What made you select this particular image? (I am inclined to vote neutral as i see no clear winner). --Slaunger (talk) 21:28, 19 March 2009 (UTC)  Comment This one has a greater depth of field (f/16), the foliage is in focus over more of the frame and the highlights are not overexposed. In this image, the white waxy powder on the immature cones is depicted well and the scale boundaries on this October cone may be seen although these are more obvious on the more mature May cone of the one you cite.
