Pead pond in the Schwenninger Moos, a bog on top of the Europen watershed.
The outflow of the bog pond, arguably the source of the river.
Near the young river is the symbolic Neckar spring.
A fountain, installed for the state gardening exhibition in 2010, fed by an electric groundwater pump.
The outflow of the symbolic spring is a small contributor to the restored natural river.
Although both are in the same town, it is still disputed where the source of the river Neckar is: The spring in the town park or the pond in the nearby bog.

Support Figured out picture documentation of the neckar source (and different arguable points of view). Well done, nothing comparable in scope. --Caecilius Mauß (talk) 06:57, 20 June 2013 (UTC)
