Locator maps of cities in Peru[edit]
I am looking to delete all images at category:Locator maps of cities in Peru, since we can use Pushpin maps on the city infoboxes. What do you think? --Andersmusician $ 01:05, 1 July 2007 (UTC)

- Have an idea, the w:Peach-yellow one for regions and provinces coloring, the gray one for locator(pushpin) maps (following tendency at wikipedia except for USA places). I think the third one is pretty dark for placing a little dot on it. --Andersmusician $ 19:22, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

- I'm not sure, I just found these locator maps and added them. I think it applies to captions in general. I added some captions in other languages on Lima, like on Peru. I haven't found any rules about using languages on commons. --ErickAgain 19:36, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- Yes, I was thinking of captions in general, like in Peru or Lima. Maybe we should standarize on two languages minimum, English and Spanish, for all pics. Maybe three if Eric wants to translate all of them into Dutch... :-) --Victor12fromWikipedia 20:06, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

La foto de una galleta Vanillia Field que subí fue eliminada[edit]
El día 4 de diciembre de 2021, subí una imagen de una envoltura de galleta Vainilla Field que compré en una tienda. Creé un tema en el Village Pump preguntando si hacer esto estaba correcto. Un usuario respondió diciendo que la imagen no sigue las reglas y, por lo tanto, la eliminó. Pueden ver la razón del administrador en la página donde estaba mi imagen.
Ahora, he estado investigando más sobre esto y he encontrado una parte de la documentación (Commons:Copyright_rules_by_subject_matter#Product_packaging) que da información sobre fotografías de paquetes de productos. Dejo documentado lo que me pasó acá por si alguno de nosotros quiere subir imágenes de productos.
En fin, una de las cosas que quiero hacer es subir imágenes de varios productos que venden en Perú, así que sería necesario que tenga en claro las reglas de copyright sobre fotografías de productos.
