Biography:
Apprentice of Walter Saul (1918/19-1921/22). 1928-1930 at the studio of Wolff v. Gudenberg, thereafter at the Deutsches Theater (also during World War II). After the war working at stages in East Berlin (despite living in West Berlin), working for the publishing house Henschel-Verlag.
