Northrop F-20 Tigershark

English: The F-20 Tigershark (initially F-5G) was a privately financed fighter aircraft, designed and built by Northrop in the USA, starting in 1975. It was a further evolution of Northrop's F-5 Freedom Fighter, although ultimately it shared little more than a strong family resemblance to that aircraft.

Deutsch: Die Northrop F-20 Tigershark wurde von Northrop ohne einen Auftrag von der Airforce aus der F-5 entwickelt. Das Flugzeug wurde Anfangs auch als F-5G bezeichnet. Sie wurde vor allem für den Export entwickelt. Sie war aber auch als eine mögliche Nachfolgerin der F-4 gedacht.

Français : Le Northrop F-20 Tigershark est l'ultime développement de la famille du F-5 Freedom Fighter. Développé sur fonds propres par Northrop au début des années 1980, il n'a jamais été produit en série.
