The republic F-84 was a jet fighter/fighter bomber used in the Korean War. There are several main versions :

  • F-84E with unswept wings : Early version
  • F-84F with swept wings  : Thunderstreake
  • F-84G with unswept wings : Thunderjet (build after the F-84F, keeping the unswept wing of the F-84E but fitted with other improvements such as an in fligth refuling system)
  • RF-84 with air inlets moved on fuselage sides to left room in the nose for cameras : Thunderflash.
