Fastener
From Wikimedia Commons, the free media repository
A fastener is a machine element and a hardware device that mechanically joins or affixes two or more objects together. Here are some fasteners as represented in Technical drawings.
Note : the small sketch at the right bottom corner representing a truncated cone tells whether the french or the american convention was used to place the views.
