Summary[edit]

Description Morus alba Morus rubra. It is the glossy leaf that distinguishes the white mulberry from its relatives. We're lucky to have several of these trees at Mount Pleasant; there aren't many in Ontario. The storied fruit will be ripe and a deep reddish purple soon.
