Description
English: Zygmunt Szendzielarz (also known as “Łupaszka”; March 12, 1910 – February 8, 1951) was a Polish commander of the 5th Vilnian Home Army Brigade. Polish soldier, officer of Polish Army in rank of Mayor, partisan during WW II , commander of anti- Soviet unit during anti-Soviet guerilla warfare after 1945, arrested, executed. On 2007 Polish president Lech Kaczyński posthumously awarded Szendzielarz with the order of en:Polonia Restituta
