As I said in my other recent Viva find, I really do love these- I'd really like to own one. I just think the design is so good, and looks good for a car which design comes from the early 70s. I never knew they made these as late as a V reg- this one has to be one of the latest examples left. What does this front end design signify on these Vivas? Most I know of seem to have square headlights. This one's got the wheel design I often see on cars of this age, and whilst I don't think they're original, I quite like them. Apologies for the not great pictures, but this sun was really really difficult, being parked under trees and in the early morning lights, I struggled to get decent photos. The Chevette was one of the replacements of the Viva, and started production in '75, but they carried these on until 1979. This one's only just sneaked onto the V reg, being registered on the 1st August. I think VY is a Leeds plate, so it's travelled quite a long way to end up here in Wiltshire.
