Description

З-фунтовая (76-мм) парадная пушка XVIII в. Ствол стальной с наружной поверхностью в виде волнистого Дамаска, украшенной позолотой и инкрустированным серебряным орнаментом. Длина ствола —198 см. Масса — 381,6 кг. Орудие было изготовлено в 1709 г. тульскими оружейными мастерами в честь Полтавской победы. Из „Обстоятельной реляции о главной баталии меж войск Его Царского Величества Российского и Королевского Величества Свейского, учинившейся неподалеку от Полтавы 27 июня 1709 года".

„И тако о 9-м часу пред полуднем генеральная баталия началась, в которой хотя и зело жестоко во огне оба войска бились, однакож далее двух часов не продолжалась, ибо непобедимые господа шведы скоро хребет показали и ... как кавалерия, так и инфантерия весьма опровергнута так, что шведское войско ни единожды потом не остановилось, но без остановки от наших, шпагами, багинетамн и пиками колото и даже до обретающегося в близу леса гнаны и биты".
