Description

76-мм пушка обр. 1936 г. № 118 Дальность стрельбы — 13700 м. Скорострельность — 15—20 выстрелов в минуту. Масса в боевом положении — 1620 кг. Изготовлена в 1939 г. Командир орудия ст. сержант И. В. ПОЛЯКОВ. 18 января 1944 г., в период ожесточенных боев при снятии блокады Ленинграда, с Пулковских высот орудие старшего сержанта И. В. Полякова, приданное танковому подразделению, используя прорыв обороны противника, было выдвинуто вместе с танками в глубь его обороны. Заняв огневую позицию, артиллерийский расчет мужественно отбивал атаки врага, уничтожил более взвода фашистов, 10 пулеметных точек, 4 танка. Старший сержант И. В. Поляков лично захватил в плен фашистского офицера и двух солдат. За отвагу и героизм, мужество и доблесть ему было присвоено звание Героя Советского Союза.
