| Description | 860 Union Street between 7th and 8th Avenues in the Park Slope neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City was built as the Victorian Gothic carriage house of the Maxwell mansion at 78 8th Avenue, which was built sometime between 1875 and 1896, and was torn down in 1922. The carriage house received a new facade in 1923 designed by Caughey & Evans. The building is one of the few carriage houses in Park Slope. It is located in the Park Slope Historic District.
