Description

Accession: 91-125-B Certificate, Award, "Eyes for the Navy, " WWI 4/8" X 8 1/8"

The certificate was issued to participants in the "Eyes for the Navy," scheme in which binoculars, telescopes, spyglasses, and navigation instruments were "loaned" to the Navy during WWI. The certificate is signed by Franklin D. Roosevelt.
