Summary[edit]

Description A Douglas A-1G Skyraider (BuNo 132635) is swung out to be placed on a barge alongside the U.S. Military Sealift Command aircraft transport USNS Core (T-AKV-41) at Saigon, South Vietnam, circa 1965. Core delivered more than seventy warplanes, docked under heavy security conditions at the same berth where USNS Card was sunk on 2 May 1964.
