Description

Sgt. 1st Class Grady Hyatt (kneeling) assists in training Republic of Sierra Leone Soldiers in the use of the Romanian 81/82 millimeter mortar, Hyatt works with a British Army counterpart (foreground adjusting mortar tube) from the United Kingdom's International Military Assistance Training Team known as IMATT. Mortar training took place at the Armed Forces Training Center near Waterloo, Sierra Leone. Hyatt is a military mentor for U.S. Army Africa with the U.S. Department of State’s African Contingency Operations Training and Assistance program known as ACOTA. U.S. Army photo.
