Nederlands: Gevecht tussen Nederlanders en Afrikanen bij El Mina in 1637. De WIC veroverde in 1637 het fort El Mina op de Portugezen. Hiertoe was een verbond gesloten met inheemse heersers, maar ook met hen ontstond een conflict.
English: Battle between the Dutch and African natives near El Mina in 1637. The WIC captured the fort of El Mina from the Portuguese in 1637. To achieve this they forged a pact with indigenous rulers, but subsequently they also clashed with them.
