Description
English: Blazon:„Or, above a triple mountain vert, an eight-spoked wheel gules.“
The arms were officially granted on October 8, 1970. The wheel is taken from the arms of the powerful Lords von Radeck, who ruled the village until 1295. The base shows a canting triple mountain (Berg). The three peaks symbolise the Hochgitzen, Plainberg und the Voggenberg.
Deutsch: Blasonierung:„In goldenem (gelbem) Schild ein grüner Dreiberg, auf dessen Mittelkuppe ruhend ein achtspeichiges rotes Wagenrad.“
Das Wappen wurde der Gemeinde von der Salzburger Landesregierung am 8. Oktober 1970 verliehen. Die Berge stellen die drei höchsten Erhebungen Bergheims dar (Hochgitzen, Plainberg und Voggenberg); es ist gleichzeitig "redend". Das Wagenrad weist auf die früheren Herren von Radeck hin.
